Vaccination protects against flu.

Prevention is better than cure: this applies to our own health, and to the health of those around us.

The most effective way to prevent flu is to get a flu vaccination. On the one hand, it reduces the risk of infection and the risk of potential complications among high-risk groups. On the other, when you get vaccinated, you are also protecting your close family members and those around you from transmission of flu viruses.

Vaccination is about solidarity.

Certain preventative measures – such as eating a balanced diet, taking regular exercise and getting enough sleep – allow you to stay healthy and strengthen your body's resistance to infections and other diseases.

Nevertheless – a healthy lifestyle alone is not enough to provide effective protection from flu!
